Remember when you could not wait for a new album to come out from your favorite singer. You rushed to the record store and buy it and come home to play it as most kids of today do, but instead of popping the album in a CD player, you plugged in the record player and played your vinyl over and over again. Technology has brought us a long way. But the nostalgia of the vinyl record will be with the people who were kids in the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s to the early 80’s.
Though we may not have any of our collections anymore, some people just want back a taste of the past. Shopping online and places like EBAY, where you have the best chance of finding what you are looking for, you can get that taste back. Just having a piece of vinyl is going back to the past when you were a kid.
Vinyl records bring back memories of listen to Elvis, the Beatles, Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison and the Doors. The kids of today may like the same music but the sound of vinyl and the sound of CD are very different. For old time’s sake, get yourself a good old vinyl record, check your EBAY auction and see if they have something you like. It will bring you back.
